When we opened the Lowcountry Living Room Event Center the world was in the middle of a pandemic and most people were not gathering any where but were mostly working from or huddling at home.
We plunged ahead. We had our first event - a sweet Surprise Birthday party for family and friends and the Lowcountry Living Room was launched. Fall of 2020 found us hosting a couple more events and we closed out the year with a beautiful Wedding Rehearsal Dinner. 2021 opened with a Winter Wonderland themed Wedding Reception and many events followed throughout, from Baby Showers to Birthday gatherings, to Election Poll Worker training to 0ur Inaugural Artisan Holiday Market.
December 12 was the one year anniversary of the opening of the adjoining space were we opened a Coffee Bar with Antiques and Art. This is the heart of what we are about. Providing a place for people to gather on special occasions and every day occasions!
Our Coffee Bar got into full swing by January of 2021 with the addition of amazing coffee beans from Beloved Coffee out of Beaufort South Carolina.
Creating a beautiful space for Artists to show their work, antiques to shine and people from all walks of life to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee, has been a dream come true.
We look forward to adding some new events to our calendar for 2022. Besides offering a venue for personal celebrations we will also be adding a yoga class, a creativity class, women's Bible Study and are in the planning stages of a lecture series.
Our Lowcountry Living Room Shop and Coffee Bar are open Thursday - Saturday 9-5.
Come enjoy great coffee and free WiFi while perusing the store or tour the Event Center.
